Sands Retirement Home

 Tidewater Baptist has the joy of ministering in the Beth Sholom Sands, a local retirement home.  Jon James leads a weekly Bible Study at the Sands on Monday nights.  He and his family have been ministering there since 2004.  Several members from the church assist with the ministry at the Sands, which includes the weekly services, special holiday services, memorial services and visitation.  The music and testimony leader, Kenneth Oldaker, has been ministering at the Monday Night services since 1995.  The residents at the Sands are a great blessing to our church.  Non-residents are welcome to attend the Bible study as well.

Although COVID has prevented us from participating in this ministry for several years. We are looking for God to reopen these doors soon.
