Good News Club: Child Evangelism Fellowship

When the children first arrive at Good News Club we have small table time while they eat their snack. This gives us a chance to get to know the children more personally and ask them about their school day. To help the children learn their Bible memory verses, we turn the verses into songs, which we practice together weekly. Every week we teach a Bible story that helps both saved children and unsaved children learn more about the good news of Jesus Christ. Also, we teach a missionary story every week, so children have Christian role models and learn about people who trusted God throughout their lives. Mr. Monkey helps us with Wondertime, a chance to teach the children a quick, practical lesson on how Christians should live. On party days, which occur about once a month, we go to the gym and play extra games with the children. We're thankful for the opportunity to minister in the Public School System every Thursday afternoon!
