This is a picture of the West Virginia flood this past week. A group from Tidewater Baptist will be going to Richwood, WV on Friday morning and will be taking some donated items. If anyone would like to donate items, we will take them with us to Liberty Baptist Church (on Riverside Drive, Richwood). If anybody would like to donate money, they can write the check to Tidewater Baptist Church- memo line WV (West Virginia), or donate online by clicking the button above. All money received will go directly to items needed in West Virginia.

The items can be brought to Tidewater Baptist on Monday - Thursday 9am-2pm. Our address is 1316 Campostella Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320. Our phone number is 757-545-7282 if you have any questions.

This is a list of requested items:

-Baby items (formula, food, diapers, wipes)
-Personal items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, soap, etc)
-Bottled water
-Non-perishable food
-Hand held can openers
-Paper products (plates, plastic silverware, cups, napkins)
-Shovels
-Trash bags
-Cleaning gloves (rubber or disposable)
-Mops, brooms
-Cleaning supplies (i.e. bleach)
-*Sealed* Medicines (kids Tylenol and various kids medicine as well as various adult medicine)
- Small Toys (baby toys or stuffed animals,small dolls) can be donated as well. Good condition only.

Gift cards can be purchased, but very few stores are able to be accessed. Stores that are accessible in this area are Rite Aid and Walmart. You could also send Visa/MasterCard gift cards.

More trips will be made if you are unable to donate at this time or would like to donate again.
