The Book of Daniel

As we study through the book of Daniel, we are reminded that God's people are to be set apart from the world and unto God. We find accounts of faithfulness and prayer, with even sinful men acknowledging repeatedly, "Your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords."

Jon James

Jon James is the Assistant Pastor at Tidewater Baptist Church in Chesapeake, Virginia. He was raised in Detroit, Michigan and came to a saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 15. Jon works full-time as a Benefits Analyst (HR) for Xerox Cooperation and served as the youth minister at Tidewater Baptist Church from 2001 to 2015. Jon met his wife Kitty at Tidewater Baptist Church in 1999, and they married in 2001. In 2002, the Lord blessed the James family with a son, Noah, whom they homeschool.
